Here are some examples of our work.
Santa Claws - Bill Bell 1000
We didn't wait for the holidays to work this one. It was a fun one since we both LOVE kitty cats.
Cheer Up Farms - Charles Wysocki 1000
We were cheery to the point of ad nauseam upon the completion of this one. Not much of a challenge but colorful.
Pumpkin Hollow - Charles Wysocki 1000
It seems like there's always lots of pumpkins or farm scenes in Wysocki's puzzles. The pumpkin patch was a challenge so Suzanne took it on.
MAGIC AND SCIENCE Wizard's Lab, David Penfound 500
Our first glow-in-the-dark puzzle and made in Germany. High quality eco-friendly cardboard is used to develop extra thick pieces which are covered with fine, linen-structured paper, for a glare-free picture. HOWEVER the BIG problem was that the pieces did not resemble the picture on the box. We had a grand but difficult time with this one.
First Catch - Andres Orpinas 1000
While Suzanne was tanning on the beaches of Maui, Betty (Honorary Corp. Officer) and Ruth managed to finish this.....along with a lot of high fives and cheers. A piece was found in the street. It had fallen off the board in transit between houses.
Art for Arf's Sake - Springbok 750
Suzanne's friend, Lisa, toted back four amazing puzzles on the plane from visiting family back East. Each piece has only a few squiggles on it and most of them look alike.......quite the challenge, but such FUN! Thank you, Lisa!
Betty found the final missing piece a week after
we had given up on it. YEA!!!
Shop 'til You Drop by Bedazzled - 1000
A mystery thriller from Christine with a secret puzzle image, not the same as the box cover.....such fun! We both guessed the wife was the murderer and we were right! I should have taken a picture of the finished puzzle. It was a series of scenes taken by various cameras. Thanks Chris!
Pattern Parade by Springbok - 500
Cousin Sharon gave us this lively colored puzzle which was great fun and FAST....took us only about a day. The pieces were very odd shaped and held together really well so we could pick up a bunch of put together pieces instead of sliding them onto cardboard. We really enjoyed this puzzle.
Puzzlebug - 500
Pretty flowers. Suzanne sorted it for me to do while she was in Alaska and I was visiting Dusty. Didn't get much done until she got back.
